I began to explore the relationship between clothes, body, self and others through making stitched paper body-like installation pieces on my textile art degree. Moving into Costume for tv/film, I worked with clothes to create a character and narrative on set. I then shifted my investigation through academic research and exhibitions to doctoral research exploring theory around the way clothes communicate through their ‘look and feel’ in the contemporary exhibition space.

I curate clothing, dress, fashion and textile art exhibitions.

I lecture in textile and fashion critical design thinking.

I research practice based enclothed curating.
